Royal Rangers is a world wide Assemblies of God ministry dedicated to reach, teach, and keep boys for Jesus Christ. We use an outdoor adventure theme which includes activities such as camping, hiking, boating and much more.

There are five different age groups ranging from 5 years old to 17 years old, each age group has it's own theme.
Ages 5-6 Straight Arrows

STRAIGHT ARROWS : Ages 5-6


The Straight Arrow program features an Indian theme, a favorite emphasis for boys at this age level. Straight Arrows will follow trails of exciting adventures in games, nature study, crafts, ceremonies and day outings. Best of all, they will be guided along the trial of Bible study and Christian living. The name "Straight Arrow" is an Indian term meaning a person who lives a straight, honorable life.

BUCKAROOS : Ages 7-8


The Buckaroo program continues with the early America theme.
The word Buckaroo was the first name given the American cowboy. These rugged men rode the range and cattle trails of the early western frontier. As a modern-day Buckaroo, you will follow trail to activities and adventures in games, hiking, nature study, crafts, and ceremonies. But greatest of all, you will be guided along the trail of Bible study and Christian living. So saddle up, partner, and let's get moving. There are lots of exciting things ahead.

PIONEERS : Ages 9-11


The American pioneer was that rugged, brave frontiersman who struggled to hack out a life in the vast wilderness of a new land. He was dressed in buckskin, equipped with a long rifle and a hunting knife. His mind was alert and ready for anything. And in his heart he held firm the belief in a mighty God. As a Pioneer you will have a chance to become more like these men. A pioneer is one who explorers new frontiers. A Pioneer participates in challenging activities such as camping, hiking, first aid, nature study, crafts, Bible study, and Christian service. Once a Pioneer earns the top advancement in his age group, he can work along with older boys in earning advanced awards. Among the numerous advanced awards are Computer Science, Solar Science, Space Exploration, Safety, Plumbing, Art, and Leather Craft.
As a Pioneer you will have some of the best times of your life!

Trailblazers : Ages 12-14


The Trailblazer Outpost is where it’s at. They will be blazing new paths toward camping, hiking, ropecraft, compass and much, MUCH more!
Advanced awards are earned in such areas as Archery, Canoeing, Chemistry, Computers, Hide Tanning, Model Rocketry, Photography, Space Exploration, Wilderness Survival and much much more! It is the goal of every Trailblazer to earn the Gold Medal of Achievement, proving himself to be a model Royal Ranger in all aspects of the Royal Ranger Code.

Challengers: Ages 15-17


This is where the boys take on the challenge to become young men. Along with all the fun in camping, canoeing, hiking and more, there also comes a focus on personal growth and responsibility. These young men take all that they have learned and start to apply it to daily living, and become effective in their homes, church, and communities.
